Hazardous Waste Collection Event

A free Hazardous Waste Collection Event will be held at Wayne Township Landfill on Saturday, July 8, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is for residents of Clinton County and residents of some townships in the Lycoming County area. Bring pool chlorine, motor oil, antifreeze, brake fluid, herbicides and pesticides, cleaners, paint remover, aerosol cans, mercury and mercury containing devices, auto batteries and rechargeable batteries and fluorescent bulbs. NO PAINT will be accepted at this collection. Keep products in original containers, or label properly. Be sure of no leaks. Stay in your vehicle, workers will remove items. Ross Library Storytime

Children's Librarian, Miss Holly, shares a story and a craft each week with youngsters at the Ross Library. On Mondays and Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. the story and craft are for 2-5 year olds. On Wednesdays the storytime at 10:30 a.m. is for children up to age 2, with older siblings welcome.

Class of 1954 Luncheon

Lock Haven High School Class of 1954 will meet for lunch on Wednesday, June 7, at noon at Haywood's on the Green in Mill Hall.
