Surface high pressure will persist across the region through this evening. A dry cold front will move across the area early Thursday. Transient high pressure will move across the region Thursday through Friday before another cold front move across the area on Saturday. Chilly high pressure will spread across the eastern U.S. on Sunday and Monday before moderating by the middle of next week. No measurable rainfall is expected through early next week when temperatures rise back into the 70s.
